Rules are changing every day, and this makes us uneasy to go for our yearly trips.
How to be safe onboard
Wear your mask the whole time
Do not change your seat! Unless there are sick passengers around you or the seat functions do not work.
Wash your hands frequently and carry sanitiser.
As soon as you go on board, if you can ask for a blanket - cover your seat prior to sitting on it. If not possible make sure your clothes are throughly washed after your flight.
If you want to change your seat to a row with less passengers, do it discreetly. If you ask the flight Attendants they are going to tell you that it is not allowed to change seats!
This is because if someone in your area turns out positive after the flight it will be more accurate and efficient to pin point the other passengers who might have been in contact!
It is very safe to be on a plane right now. Just take the extra measures of cleanliness and you will be perfectly fine.
Country Regulations
Check the country's regulations that you are travelling to, if you have to:
Quarantine;
Make a PCR test once you land or before you depart for your return home.
Wear a mask when you are out, if you are travelling to Europe, they are more lenient with rules there, Asia and Australia are the strictest in terms of quarantine rules and wearing of masks, in my experience of the last 2 months.
That's it!
I know that there are extra measures you have to take into consideration. But this is for your own safety, flying has not changed that much more, you can go and enjoy your travels while being safe!
After all this is the new way we all have to adapt to living like.
I hope this article helped you!
