Malta! What to see in 2 days Itinerary

I will give you a quick look at what to see and do in a weekend in Malta!

MALTA WEEKEND ITINERARY

DAY 1

1. Valletta

2. 3 cities

3. Mdina

Day 2

1. Comino

2. or Gozo - I would choose either these depending on the weather

Comino will be a beach day - with Gozo you can combine beach and sites together.

With Comino if you Loved Malta you have the whole late afternoon and eve free for you to be free and do what you want to do.

Day 1

Starting off with the Capital of the Maltese Islands, Valletta is great way to start your trip! Make sure you see Instagramable Spots in Valletta post, this will give you a guide to make sure you get to see the best spots of our beautiful Capital.

When you arrive at the Lower Barrakka Gardens as to my Valletta post, walk to the 3 cities ferry. It costs around Eur 1.70 for a round trip. Take the ferry enjoy the views of Birgu one of the 3 cities, and when you are done taking it in head back to Valletta.

Go for lunch or a quick dip in the sea.... and we are now heading to Mdina by night!

Mdina is the old capital city, its an arabic style city that is so beautifully preserved you will be amazed by this gem! Make sure to drop by Fontanella for a piece of chocolate cake! They seriously have the best cake on the island!

Day 2

For Day 2 why not have a half day trip to one of our islands? For Gozo you will need a car to get around, it's beautiful if you're up for this trip, I will make another separate post for this.

For Comino, just take a bus or taxi to Cirkewwa, take a ferry to Comino around Eur 15 for a round trip. Spend the day at the Blue Lagoon, Buy a pineapple! and enjoy this cute island!

Head back and this day is very easy for you to add any last thing you wanted to do before you have to head back!
