Declutter your space and create `a calming exciting area to come to

Haven't you all seen it online how trendy it is to change up your space and making sure to declutter anything that doesn't quite SPARK YOU ANY JOY?
Start with your room!
“Getting organised is easy. Staying organised requires discipline."
Starting off with the room you spent most time in is vital. Start by going through every drawer (maybe make one a day) and go through every item... do you really need that? Have you used it in the last 3 months? Decide and throw out anything you don't need. Clean that space and organise everything when you put it back in.
Make sure your room is now clean and tidy.
Having less clutter will help your mental health be clear, calm and healthy.
You're so close!
“Be original, show off your style, and tell your story.”
Buy mason jars (from Ikea etc.) and label each type of food you put in it - for your kitchen organisation.
Buy folders to put in all your loose papers in your office.
Get Inspired
With quarantine with us earlier this March, I started off by going through each item I owned and really seeing if I did need it, if I didn't I added it to my bag for the flea market and a bag for charity.
The rest I cleaned up all my drawers and put everything back more organised and more efficient for me to grab when I needed it.
KITCHEN
I love my kitchen space! I started off by saving up all my glass jars and buying mason jars from IKEA. Opening up all my food which was in plastic and put in jars. My flatmate got me these charcoal labels I had been raving about for my birthday and I used them to label all the foods I had along with the expiration date.
I organised the areas by grains, cereals, snacks and spices and now every time i enter my kitchen i feel inspired to cook and feel calm that I know where everything is and that nothing is hidden at the back somewhere about to expire.
My Room
My room is my sacred space! I want to feel calm and productive when I am there, no one can interrupt or make me feel anxious as I chose warm light colours to decorate it. For me keeping my space as minimal as possible helps me wake up and start my day on a productive leg!
Adding some my Himalayan lamp and note pads in my drawers whenever i get ideas to jot down helps me achieve my goals more seamlessly.
Go start with one drawer today! Make your space a place that you love being in and one that helps your mind space rather than wrecking havoc in it.
Good luck!
